Learn How to Crochet the Traditional Granny Square

Have you been admiring those fun and funky retro and vintage blankets, bags and cushions?  In this 3hr class you will learn your basic stitches and working in the round to create the traditional Granny Square which is used in many items now experiencing a resurgence in popularity.   You will receive class notes and a basic pattern so you can leave the class skilled and inspired to continue your crochet journey.

For this class you will need at least two balls of 8ply yarn and a 4mm crochet hook all of which are available in-store. We sell the lovely range of Bendigo Woollen Mills yarn which is a delight to work with. We do sell some smaller packs which are very popular with our beginners as they get a taste of the quality of this locally produced yarn.

During your workshop, enjoy a lovely, complimentary Devonshire Tea that will make your class experience super special.  Think fresh scones, house made Lemon Curd, Organic Plum Jam from the Rushworth area and fresh whipped cream, no canned stuff here, just like Nana would have served, barista made coffee or a fresh brewed tea, with a tea cozy of course.

Classes are kept small to cater for all students and so you receive individual attention.
